"While contracted in LA I was worried that my son would have difficulty gaining rapport with a new speech therapist. Mr. Joey was referred to me by another therapist who shared with me how my son might benefit from working with a male therapist. Having high functioning autism, he has difficulty trusting new people. Mr. Joey's easy going personality, and ability to quickly create a friendly relationship with my son allowed for great progression in therapy. With a  busy schedule and LA traffic, it was great having services brought to us. Also loved that he incorporates life-skills, and therapy out in the community."

I have to be honest, being that I'm "old school" (neither I nor anyone I knew had speech/ot or any services growing up) I was very worried when my granddaughter's teacher suggested we consider speech therapy to help her say her "r's and th's". She was worried that she was going into 5th grade and this had still not "self corrected". My Daughter found Mr. Joey through a mutual friend and he was not only polite and professional but got along so well with my granddaughter! She looks forward to her sessions with him AND we have seen improvement in her articulation! Mr. Joey is also very good at maintaining contact with both myself and my daughter. He also keeps us updated on what he is working on as well as things we can do at home to help my granddaughter with her speech. We are so happy we found you Mr. Joey!
